Natalie Port-man was born in Israel in 1982 . She is best known for winning Oscar and also popular because of her super hit movies such as ,’black swan’, ‘mother’, ‘Jackie’. Natalie Port ma’s full name is Natalie Hershlag. She has citizenship of both Israel and America. She started modelling at the age of 14 .

She debuted in Hollywood with her first film ‘The Professionals’ in 1994. While pursuing her career she also completed her degree in Psychology from Harvard University. Natalie got married to Benjamin Millepied in 2012 and has two children’s. She won Oscar for her character and performance in the film,’ black swan’. Natalie worked in many such blockbuster movies and series.

Early Life & Family

Natalie Port-man was born on 9 June, 1981 in Jerusalem, Israel. When she was a kid her family shifted to United States and before that they lived in Washington DC. At a local pizza parlor, she was discovered by a representative of Revlon cosmetics and he encouraged Port-man for pursuing modelling at the age of 11. Soon she stepped into her acting career because she found modelling as a mundane activity. Then she begun working with the Usdan Theater Arts Camp, where she appeared in a number of local productions.

Port-man family consists of her father Avner Hershlag, her mother Shelley Stevens, her spouse Benjamin MIllipied and her one daughter and a son also her grandparents. Port-man’s husband is a ballet dancer and they met on the set of Black Swan and got married soon. Her mother was an American, her father was a Israeli and a doctor.

Relationship

Natalie Port-man had few high profile relationships. Along with that she also had some rumored boyfriends. Once she got a call from McIntyre who worshiped Port-man in his young years but she declined to go out with him. According to her it’s very sketchy to when you are a celeb and you ask the other celeb or a person to go out with you. Port-man was somewhere also hesitant to date a celeb.

A rumor was there about Natalie Port-man dating Rodrigo Santoro in 2009. He is a Brazilian actor and appeared in many successful films. Natalie not really dated him. Natalie then dated Devendra Obi Ban-hart in 2008, he is a Venezuelan American Singer and songwriter and visual artist .

In 2012, Natalie got married to her beloved Benjamin Millipied, who is four years older than her. Millipied is a French dancer and choreographer who also choreographed each and every move in ‘black swan’. Their love story started on the set of this movie that while teaching her dance in the movie he fall in love with her and by leaning by him, she fell in love with him too. Millipied is also a known personality in Hollywood as a choreographer and is best known for her work in ‘Black Swan’. Both are blessed with two children a boy and then a girl.

Natalie Port-man started her modelling at the age of 11 and soon got into acting profession and debuted with ‘The Professionals’ in 1994. Due to this picture she became a well known star and also got appreciated that she soon got her next film’ Al Pacino’ in 1995. She also played a lead role on film adapting a book ‘A diary of a young girl’ and she was credited for very beautiful performance in the play and the play was a great success .

For this play she also spent one year on Broadway. During that period ,she went to complete her degree in psychology from Harvard university. Natalie was back with her another film , ‘Star wars’ in 1999. Through this film she got fame because of her character of Queen Amidala .

The most popular film all all this was her, ‘Black Swan’ through which she got lot of appreciation and also won an Oscar for the film. In this movie she played a character, Ballerina who is obsessed with her art. Plus, people loved her dance performance in the movie. Natalie also won the Golden Globe and Academy Award for Best Actress for her role. Natalie won many such awards and many of her films were nominated. Natalie also worked in three TV series – ‘Hitler’s Pawn : The Margaret Lambert Story’, ‘Tsunami Aid’, ‘Hollywood’s Top Ten’.

Controversies/Affairs

Natalie was into a controversy because of her dance double in the ‘Black Swan’. The controversy stated as how much credit was given to her and how much for her ‘dance double’. Her husband Benjamin and Kunis  who was the another co-actor of her in the film were in support of Natalie.

But it wasn’t true that any double was used and Natalie herself danced in filming the final scene. Another big controversy attached with Natalie’s life is about Mo-by. Mo-by dated Natalie when she was 20. Mo-by wrote a memoir called ‘Then It Fell Apart”. In this memoir he didn’t informed Natalie about the inclusion of her in it . Natalie was disappointed after seeing her inclusion in the memoir. For this Mo-by himself apologized by captioning a picture “I also fully recognize that it was truly inconsiderate of me to not let her know about her inclusion in the bool beforehand, and equally inconsiderate for me to not fully respect her reaction”. he also revealed that she was only 18 then.
