Overview

Born on 25 February 1994, Urvashi Rautela is an Indian actress and model. She made her career debut in the 2013 film ‘Sing Saab The Great’and her Kannada debut with ‘Mr. Airavata’ (2015). Urvashi received so much love from audience and critics for her performance in her debut movie.

She won the title of miss universe India 2015, Miss Tourism Queen of the Year International 2011 and Miss Asian Supermodel 2011. Urvashi holds the Miss Universe special award ”I am She”. She is the ‘Most Desirable woman’ for 4 years. She has launched her own app, in this app show share her personal detail with her fans and followers. She represented India at Miss Universe 2015 pagent too.

She does many social works, she works for ‘Save the cow’ campaining. She is the founder of the Urvashi Rautela Foundation, which provides essential things like education and health to the needy people. She also supports the charity activities to clean the Yamuna River in Agra. She participates in the ”Ride for Safety” motorcycle rally too. She comes to support gender equality rights and also donated 25 Lakh to Uttarakhand Floods relief.

Early Life & Family

Urvashi Rautela was born in Haridwar, Uttarakhand, India. Urvashi’s Father name is Manvar Singh and her mother name  is Meera Singh. Her mom-dad involves in their family business. She has a young brother named , yash Rautela. She did her schooling from Bloomingvale Public school ans St.

Joseph’s Convent Public School. For a further study she came to Delhi where she completed her Bachelor’s Degree at the Hindu College, University of Delhi. She did her acting training from New York Film Academy School. She used to play Basketball in her school, she is national level Basketball player. At age of 15, she stepped into the modelling industry. She won the title of Miss Teen India 2009.

Relationship

Urvashi Rautela, grabs so much attention for her rumoured relationship time to time. Recently, there was a rumour that Urvashi is dating Indian Cricketer Hardik Pandya. People spread this rumours so much that Urvashi came to speak on this topic. She used the social media to request all media and fans to stop spreading false news about their relationship. Urvashi wrote, “I would humbly request respective media channels to YouTube to stop uploading such ridiculous videos as i have a family to answer and it creates problems for me.”

However, Hardik Pandya recently announced his engagement to Natasa Stankovic, so this is enough to shut all rumours between Urvashi and Hardik. Urvashi’s link was not only connected with Hardik but with Rishabh Pant too. Both were spotted spending time together at various occasions after the IPL matches. But before he get any information about their relation, the latest reports says that Rishabh has blocked Urvashi on WhatsApp. Even Urvashi’s spokesperson confirm this by saying it was a mutual decision by the two to block each other on WhatsApp.

Urvashi stuck in many controversy since teenage. One of the controversy is, when she was asked to return her Miss India Universe Crown. Miss Universe contestants must be at least 18 years of age and under 27 years. But she was on her teenage so, asked to step down from this. She later came back once again and won Miss Diva in 2015.

Last year, there was one more controversy,which grabbed so much attention because of the video featuring Urvashi and Boney kapoor viral in a social media sites. In the video Boney Kapoor seen touching Urvashi inappropriately after hugging her. Soon after watching this video, people started calling this casual sexual assault. The speculation led to Urvashi to speak on this matter.

She defended Boney by calling him a ”true gentleman”. However, she took to her Twitter page and slammed such reports. She defended him by tweeting, ”He is a true Gentleman and it makes me fell extremely unhappy and miserable because the social sites/media don’t even think twice before putting up things or destroying anyone’s reputation. I request all to stop trolling. I honestly respect Boney Kapoor sir and stand by him and his dignity.
